IT STARTS WITH THE STARS;Full Moon in Capricorn — June 29, 2026                                                     This Full Moon is exact at 4:57 PM on the West Coast of North America at 8° 15 minutes of Capricorn.  Tomorrow on June 29, 2026, the Moon waxes full at in the earthy practical and determined Cardinal sign of Capricorn, in direct opposition to the Sun at that same degree in watery, emotional Cancer. This is not a simple illumination. It is the major and first Full Moon of the Summer!                                        This Full Moon asks us to be direct, honest — not wishy-washy or overly emotional. It asks us whether the framework we have been building for our lives on the inside matches the outside. Does it still really even make sense?                                THE CANCER-CAPRICORN AXIS: ROOTS AND RESULT     This Full Moon is illuminating many, many things — but first, understand the axis across which it travels.                     Cancer and Capricorn are opposing signs, and together they rule what I call the Home Axis — not just our physical home, but the interior and exterior of life itself. Cancer is what nourishes us. Cancer is home, hearth, memory, Mom and apple pie. It is our emotions, our roots, our sensibilities, our sense of belonging, our private inner world, unconditional love — where we came from and what we hold inside. Capricorn is what we build with all of that. Capricorn is the Doer, the cosmic Taskmaster, the great Foundation and Pyramid Builder. It is our reputation, the structures we erect or tear down. It is the long game — not quick results, but Legacy. Something we move toward. It is not a given.                                       As this Full Moon hits this axis, the celestial realm is holding up a mirror between our private lives and our public sector. It is not just what you feel and what you do — it is what nourishes your soul, and what concrete actions you can take, beyond the ordinary demands of your time and energy, to build something substantive and lasting. Just like the Pyramids.    The light of this Moon illuminates those two halves of our lives that are in honest opposition and yet need honest conversation and communion. We have to be careful to make sure that one has not been quietly overrunning the other — and that your karma is not running all over your dogma.   SATURN AT THE APEX: STRUCTURAL PRESSURE      Here is where this Full Moon becomes more complex, and more important.                    Saturn — the planet of structure, discipline, long-term foundations, and the passage of time — is the traditional ruler of Capricorn, the Sea Goat. That means Saturn is the ruling planet of this Full Moon. It is in its domicile. It sets the terms. It holds the authority over exactly what is going on and what needs to be done.                        But Saturn is currently transiting Aries. It is weak there. It does not like brash, fiery, pioneer-spirited, big-mouthed Aries. Aries is the sign of Saturn’s Fall, and Saturn will not operate at full capacity there for the next three years. Aries is fast, initiatory, and impulsive — the energy of that pioneer who moves before the plan is finished, who all too often leaps before they look. Saturn is the restrictive energy that says slow down, build it right or it is going to fall down — and be very sure before you commit or promise. No empty words here. These two energies are in constant friction with each other by nature. Saturn in Aries is trying to establish order inside a sign that resists being told what to do and will damn the torpedoes at all costs. It is trying to build endurance inside something that burns hot and quick. You can see the dilemma…                  And this is the planet sitting at the apex of what is known as a T-square to the Full Moon axis   A T-square is a pattern in the sky where two planets in opposition are both square — in a 90-degree angle of friction and pressure — to a third planet. That third planet, the apex, becomes the pressure point. All of the tension of the opposition flows through it, channeled directly to it. In this chart, all of the tension between the Sun in Cancer and the Full Moon in opposite Capricorn flows directly through the fiery channel of Saturn in Aries.     What does that mean? The very thing that is supposed to hold our structures together is itself under strain. The architecture of your life — the plans, the systems, the paradigms, the long-term designs — well, they are not collapsing, but they are being very thoroughly audited. And I am not using the IRS as an example for no small reason. We are being checked, examined, run through, background-checked, and picked at. Whatever you have been maintaining through habit or inertia rather than genuine integrity is now very visible. It will come to light. Any framework or parameters that used to feel solid may now feel like they need a great deal more effort just to hold themselves together. This is not a crisis. This is an important signal. Pay attention                                         This Full Moon is not asking you to tear anything down. But it is asking you to look clearly at what is still structurally sound — and what might need to be rebuilt from a more honest and more realistic foundation.   NEPTUNE AT THE SECOND APEX: THE STORY YOU’VE BEEN TELLING YOURSELF                  The second T-square in this chart is very powerful — though not quite as strong as the first. Neptune at 4° of fiery Aries also squares this Full Moon axis, forming its own apex point in the pattern                                       Where Saturn asks about structure, Neptune is all about dissolving structure. But Neptune in Aries is also about Truth. Neptune will take the edge off of things, making what seemed solid feel a bit more permeable — not that we will be gaslit, but what may have seemed very clear may suddenly seem very complex. In Aries, Neptune has been seeding idealism into the territory of identity and new beginnings since 2025. It softens the full-speed-ahead charge of Aries, making the impulse toward a new life feel more like a vision than a concrete plan. It builds castles in the sky and makes dreams feel entirely real — and it can be beautiful. But it can also make us very susceptible to telling ourselves a story about our lives that feels very real but may not be anything quite of the sort. We have to be careful of mistaken views of reality — as our friends in Tibet would say.             Neptune at this apex asks the question: How much of what you have been building was a story? A narrative? A fantasy? Something you were telling yourself, like whistling in the dark — and what of it was truly able to be built, truly able to be sustained                                        This is not meant to be harsh. Neptune does not expose things to humiliate. It dissolves constructs — it dissolves any form of ego-structure to make room for what is actually true. Under this Full Moon, motivations will be clarified, or become more complicated before they clarify. A narrative you have held about your career, a relationship, your life path, a version of success that has lived mostly in your head, may look very different in the days ahead. Let it. That soft unraveling is part of how we find our way back to something genuine, authentic, and on track        Saturn and Neptune are both in Aries, approximately 10 degrees apart. This proximity is not random — I do not believe in coincidence. It is one of the defining signatures of 2025 and 2026 as a transpersonal, collective era. The great tension of this pivotal piece of Earth history is idealism meeting reality. Vision meeting practicality and constraint. The dream of what something could be bumped up against the discipline required to actually build it. This Full Moon pulls both of those planets into direct conversation with the Cancer-Capricorn axis. What you feel this week is not isolated. It is part of the larger reckoning this year that we are all moving toward                                       JUPITER AT 29° CANCER: THE CHAPTER THAT IS CLOSING     This may be the subtlest and yet deepest piece of this Full Moon    At the time of this lunation, Jupiter sits at the very last degree of Cancer — the Anaretic Degree, that final, critical point of the zodiac. Only minutes later, Jupiter moves into Leo. And I, for one, am very happy about that. My own Jupiter Return in Cancer has expanded the most negative financial destruction I have ever experienced in my life. So bring on the change. Jupiter in Leo is going to bring expansion in a very different form, and that will be most interesting as we move through the Summer of 2026 — and I will write more about that soon.                                                 But for now: the 29th degree, the Anaretic Degree, is very specific in astrology. It is the last breath, the last whisper of a transit. The energy of the sign has been fully expressed — and sometimes made extremely intense — in the moments just before the planet moves on forever                   Jupiter has been moving through Cancer since the Summer of 2025. In Cancer, Jupiter is exalted — one of its very best placements, functioning at its highest and most generous expression. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, abundance, growth, and good fortune, and in Cancer that expansion has been more personal than global. This has been a year of emotional deepening or collapsing, of reopening or closing — it deals with home life, family, and the sense of security and belonging we all need. It reconnects us to what truly nourishes us. For many people, Jupiter in Cancer has been doing quiet, inside work — rebuilding something from the inside out that may take time to fully recognize.       At 29° of Cancer on June 29, that year-long chapter reaches its peak and its ending simultaneously                    Mercury is also in late Cancer on this day, conjunct Jupiter and conjoining the Sun. This Cancer stellium — Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter all gathered in that sign — is at its most concentrated and most complete at this very Full Moon. This is not a beginning. This is an ending. You are at the top of the mountain. This arc represents everything that Jupiter in Cancer has been growing, building, and nourishing in your life — and the Full Moon in the opposite sign of Capricorn is the practical flashlight that lets you see it clearly in this moment.        Jupiter will move into Leo shortly after this lunation, and the energy will shift — from nourishing to radiant, from roots to expression, from clinging to independence, from home to the world stage. It is going to make everybody shine. But right now, in this moment, this reckoning — the beautiful and pressured energy of the last year is leaving. Whatever the Jupiter-in-Cancer year has brought you — the emotional repair, the emotional distress, the expanding awareness of what you have truly needed — this Full Moon is the moment you are allowed to fully see it. Honor it before it leaves.                VENUS TRINE SATURN: THE THREAD THAT HOLDS US TOGETHER In the middle of all this complexity, there is one clear stabilizing thread in the sky.   Venus at 19° of sexy, powerful, magnanimous, and magnificent Leo is bringing finance and romance to a head. Monies that have been held back — and Lord knows they have been, in so many areas — should finally begin to come through this week. Venus forms a trine to Saturn at 14° of Aries. It is a wide trine, but it will bring warmth, generosity, and loyalty. Even with Saturn in Aries under strain at this Full Moon, it will receive this support directly.    What this means: our values are intact. Although the framework may be under review — and structures and people in positions of authority may be asking hard questions — and the story you have been telling yourself may be getting a bit frayed around the edges — those things you genuinely love, those things you cherish, what you actually care about, what you want to build because it reflects something authentic and true in you — and not borrowed or blue — this can still come to fruition.           Venus trine Saturn reminds us that we must return to love, as Marianne Williamson has so often said. This is not an escape. It is an anchor. What you value points toward what is actually worth sustaining, building, and keeping.   The ancient Sabian Symbols are very important in astrology, and for this degree of the zodiac they are very specific. The Sabian Symbol for 8° Capricorn — the exact degree of this Full Moon — is:  In a sunlit home, domesticated birds sing joyously.                                          The keynote is: “The wholesome happiness which comes to those who accept, unreservedly, the ideals and patterns of a well-established culture.”               Think about that for a moment. Sunshine. Birds singing — like summer in our Northern Hemisphere — not wild birds in the open sky, but domesticated ones, sheltered in the light. There is something both beautiful and thought-provoking in this symbol under a Full Moon that presses so hard on questions of structure and framework                                     This image is about joy. The warmth is real. But under this Moon, the question becomes: where do you find your joy? Inside the established structure — in the sunlit home, in the role, in the well-worn pattern — or somewhere else? There is no judgment here. Take a long and honest look at whether the home you are singing in truly fits the song.                                            WHAT TO PAY ATTENTION TO NOW                                              What structures in your life have you been maintaining through habit rather than genuine alignment? This is not about blowing everything up. It is about honest reassessment.    What did the Jupiter-in-Cancer year of 2025-2026 bring to you? Take a look at it. Honor it. And prepare to move on from it Where has the friction between what nourishes you emotionally and what your external life demands of you been grinding on you? The Cancer-Capricorn axis at a Full Moon is always asking this. What story have you been telling yourself about what is stable, what is real, what is sustainable — and how much of that can you honestly still believe?And finally: what do you love? In the midst of all of this pressure, and the dissolving edges of a narrative that no longer supports or sustains you — Venus, the planet of finance and romance, making a beautiful aspect to Saturn the great Taskmaster in fiery Aries, reminds us that what we genuinely value is still there. Because what is real always was and always will be and can never be destroyed.                    This Full Moon may not be gentle. But it will be honest. Use this light to show you what is real and what is not — and trust in what you find. Know that it is something upon which you can actually build. Until next time —NAMASTE
