Today Saturn is still barely moving at the 29th° of Pisces, which represents a profound or “ANARETIC “AKA “crisis “ degree of the zodiac. This marks not just the end of a three-year profoundly challenging or difficult transit but a full 28 to 30 year cycle or astrological journey through the complete circle of the Zodiac ; all since the last time Saturn was in Pisces in the mid to late 1990s or even all the way back to 1967, which was another Saturn in Pisces transit.
This is profound yet unavoidable.
The ultimate degrees of any sign of the zodiac are crucial but especially at 29° of Pisces. This degree represents the end RIGHT BEFORE a New Beginning.
Here as we inexorably and unavoidably march towards 0° of Aries feels so much more like quicksand,a muck, and a Morass because of the extreme snail paced travel time that slow moving outer planet Saturn ( undergoing a Great Storm as I write this) now getting ready to shift on February 13, 2026. We may feel an inescapable ennui or Limbo of sorts. These final degrees are where unlearned lessons, deeply buried sorrows, unresolved issues, past trauma or dysfunctional family dynamics and personal stumbling blocks resurface: spiritual seeking crosses paths with unhealed wounds, and Victimese rears it’s ugly head one more time before ( hopefully having learned the hard way)we Surrender and Release. There is no shortcut no way to bypass this last final intensely compressed review of the last few years before the transition into Dynamic, Damn the torpedoes Firebrand Aries. The timeline for This last piece of the Piscean puzzle after having stationed direct in late 2025 is that on February 13th-14th,2026, depending on your time zone, Saturn enters Aries (Hallelujah!) and not a moment too soon. Aries is where Saturn will stay Until April 2030. Saturn’s transit in Aries will be focused on Independence, Pioneering, and deconstruction or Destruction of rotten or unsustainable foundations… from the ground up …
To reiterate, the 29th° of this particular transit feels so difficult as Pisces is the sign of endings, a proverbial recycle bin for Karmic Taskmaster Saturn. Saturn here acts like a fast track ;speeding along while clearing pending consequences with no room for emotional bargaining, no room for guilty with an explanation, no room for sympathy or compassion in the most sympathetic and compassionate sign of the zodiac! This is the Piscean Neptunian fog before it’s burned off by the laser fire of Aries ! For these next two weeks it is dissolving the last of our illusions, self-defeating or destructive behaviors, blurred boundaries and waterlogged, soggy structures, unsafe foundations, victimization, gaslighting, and all the things that no longer fit,no longer work. All the excuses are done. It’s time to get to work
Period which seems like a very very difficult final exam at the end of the zodiacal degree of Pisces is extremely powerful. There are very high stakes on the transpersonal stage as well as four for those with planets in Pisces, Virgo, Gemini Sagittarius, and anyone with birth or natal planets in the final degrees of these signs, especially Aries ( me…) Capricorn, Cancer, and Libra.
How do we navigate or survive these next few weeks? It is important to surrender release or let go if possible of all the emotional baggage; All of the dross we can no longer carry, all the emotional burdens we’ve held inside away from the light of day :truly a time for moving on lest it become that much tougher or more difficult to manage later. We must move past those things we’ve refused to face or acknowledge or have refused to Fix. Saturn in Pisces truly does represent that old saying “those things which do often lie too deep for tears “ Commitment to truth and hard work dedication and fulfillment of obligation are critical rather than spiritual bypassing, looking to shirk avoid or escape your duties and NO sleeping on the job !
This is a good time to face reality however, hard it may seem because in about two weeks it’ll be all about looking at this waiting and reflecting interstitial time in the rearview mirror as taking responsibility and final accomplishment, dreams come True, becomes Fully achievable and Fulfilled.
I will receive flack, of course from people who say I’m being a negative Nellie or naysayer but Saturn in Pisces has been particularly tough not for everybody but for mostly everyone because it is a difficult transit and as Saturn moves into Aries, even though it will be on top of me, it will get off of me, Namaste
