Mercury stations retrograde tonight at 9:45 pm PT on the West Coast of North America and early a.m. tomorrow on July 18th on the East Coast. Mercury’s Retrograde “Shadow” began June 30th and set the theme for a lot of the things we will be dealing with :reviewing,reassessing rewriting,reworking,renegotiating,reacquainting,revising, repurposing, renewing or reminiscing…maybe even reliving …people, places and things, karmic blasts from the past,old ties, old relationships, old flames, old ideas, or plans through the end of August.
It begins on 15°34′ Leo. The Sabian Symbol for this zodiac degree is: A PAGEANT WITH SPECTACULAR FLOATS, MOVES ALONG A STREET CROWDED WITH CHEERING SPECTATORS. This denotes the more or less sensational release of energies, in a form representative of the unconscious aspirations of Humankind’s primitive and instinctual nature. The pageant represents the public demonstration or Stage that the mind is now able to give as a public ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OR DEMONSTRATION : Thus the ability to sway the multitudes by a dramatic presentation of popularized ( or propagandized) ideals. This Retrospective is all about Mercury’s movement backwards then forward in the Noble, sometimes Grandiose, Loving, Magnanimous, fiery,and larger than Life sign of Leo, Which ruled by our life-giving Star. For a Change this is overall a positive retrograde, however it falls in the heat of Summer and on a fiery World Stage. Be apprised that anger must be tempered, lest the smallest spark burn of it could rage unchecked and burn down a mountain. Take care of what’s in front of you,finish unfinished business,renegotiate, but mind your Ps and Qs, dot your I s and cross your Ts, know all the legalese BEFORE you sign or buy anything. Leo wants entertainment. Leo also wants some loving so enjoy yourself,trip the light fantastic, mix, entertain, enjoy ;just remind yourself that it may be better to be seen and not heard.
