Chiron, the minor planet known as the Wounded Healer, stationed retrograde today in the earthy sign of Taurus at 12:10 pm PDT.
This begins a two-month period of reflection on our most personal wounds and traumas — all related to self-worth, security, financial stability, and abundance. We are encouraged to review our belief systems and parameters around material stability (money, property, prestige!), comfort, and succor, as the Bible would say. It is a time to promote healing by confronting and walking through some of our deepest — and sometimes most raw, unhealed, even unrecognized — wounds.
The transformation begins today, August 3, and lasts until September 17, 2026. It will be a significant time for personal reflection and for facing inner demons, unresolved trauma, and emotional scars.
On September 17, Chiron retrogrades back into Aries, where it has been for the last seven or so years. Key themes are reviewing and revisiting — BUT NOT RELIVING — our most personal wounds: those that damage our ego, our identity, and our independence; how we see ourselves and how we make our mark on the world.
Chiron will be retrograde in Aries for the last time until January 7, 2027 — and THEN it finally moves forward again into Taurus.
Important themes for the coming months: our innermost wounds, and how we confront and heal — or deny and bury — deep-seated issues related to material stability and our worth versus what we perceive others consider our value. The healing process is made easier, as is our understanding of how the Past shapes the Present and points toward the Future. We must review and rethink, but not remain stuck or paralyzed in the “if onlys” of yesterday and the “what ifs” of tomorrow.
By recognizing and then reorganizing — re-establishing our belief structures and paradigms on more solid footing — we move ahead when Chiron stations direct in January, with a stronger framework around self-esteem, value, abundance, and prosperity in our material, emotional, and Spiritual worlds.
Questions to sit with: What is “enough”? And when are we comfortable enough with what we have to be content — and release the need for more, more, and more?
More will be revealed! Namaste.
